Oishi delivery …

Filed under: food, thai — bangkokmom @ 11:01 pm

freaks me out … i think they went overboard with their packaging trick … last sunday i was stuck home, not brave enough to take the kids out alone so i ordered from them … the bento box was placed inside a cardboard box … there are various sauces in plastic bags, more sauces in plastic cups, a plastic bag to hold a piece of tissue paper and wooden chopsticks ( in paper coverings ) , even the month’s menu is slided inside a plastic bag ! … that was one guilt-ridden meal i had … and it didn’t taste good too … the tempura was oily, the salmon was a skinny serving, and the salad just didn’t look fresh ….

  1. Welcome to the world of Oishi service. I ordered mine today since I don’t have time to go out, have to work. I spent almost an hour waiting for the order, but it turned out to be wrong one. The messenger delivered mine to other. So, I had to wait another 10 minutes for him to come back and get it. Instead of trading the wrong one with the one I had ordered, he picked up the wrong one and went off. When asked, he said he would pick up the right one from that house and would be back. Yes, I spent another 15 minutes waiting before he finally arrived. Perfect timing, I had to leave the house without eating. I know Oishi food taste bad and quality requires compromising standard, but I hadn’t expect that the service would be this unacceptable. BTW, no one apologized, not the one calling from the delivery center or the messenger. Impressive huh!
